My passion for photography started in high school, but you could say it runs in my genes. My grandfather was a collector, and cameras and pictures were a part of his treasures. My parents bought me my first Canon film camera when I decided to take an independent study class. There I learned the ins and outs to processing film, and developing my own images. I fell in love with the process, and the quietness of the dark room. 

After college my passion returned. This time around I decided to invest in my first DSLR camera. It was a new learning curve but I love it and I haven't looked back!

After I became a mother, I found myself wanting to capture ALL. THE. THINGS. I have loved watching them grow and be mischievous through my camera lens. This is why you will see a big part of our life incorporated in my blog.

My hope is to capture your life, your "things", at this moment in time. I am excited to work together, and to provide you with images you will cherish for years to come. I look forward to chasing the light with you very soon!
